The main train station (Gare Saint Jean) is located about 2km from the Place de la Victoire, where the Meeting will take place. Several trains per day (around one every two hours) go north (to Paris, about 3.5 hours with the TGV), south (to Toulouse, about 1.5 hours with TGV), Marseille, Montpellier (about 4 to 5 hours), and east (to Périgueux and Clermont-Ferrand, up to 6 hours). Train tickets can be bought here

 

In Paris, the main station for trains leaving to Bordeaux is Gare Montparnasse. Trains leave at least every two hours. A few trains also leave from Charles-de-Gaulle Airport train station. The train station is located between terminals 2C, 2D, 2E et 2F. From Terminal 1 and 3 there is a free train shuttle CDGVAL to the train station.

In Bordeaux: Buses, trams and taxis leave in-front of the St Jean train station.

For arriving from the gare Saint Jean : 

Tram C to Parc des expositions, stop Porte de Bourgogne, tram A to Le Haillan-Rostand, stop hôtel de ville.
