Transportation in Bordeaux

Bordeaux has a good tram and bus system (TBC).

Taxis: several taxi companies cover Bordeaux. In general, one cannot stop a taxi in the street but one has to reserve one or find a free taxi at one of the few taxi stands in Bordeaux. If you need to order a taxi, please contact your hotel. The cost of a taxi ride is rather expensive in Bordeaux. Please also note that if you order a taxi the payment clock will start when the taxi is on the way to pick you up (so you will see already some charges).
